Qualtrics has hired Alex Nemeth as its new Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) country manager, replacing Michael Heitz who departed in October 2023.

He will be responsible for leading the company’s operations across A/NZ with a remit to deliver improved customer and employee experiences that drive customer loyalty, boost employee engagement and build brand awareness.

“Great customer and employee experiences are a key competitive advantage in today’s high-stakes, fast-changing business environments,” Nemeth said.

Based in Sydney, Nemeth brings more than two decades of local and global leadership experience helping a range of organisations deliver business outcomes through strategic IT investments.

Most recently, Nemeth was a director at DigiRen and prior to this spent almost a decade in senior roles at Amazon Web Services.

“Alex has a long- and proven-track record of helping organisations from all industries deliver impact and growth across both commercial and public sectors,” Qualtrics Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) managing director Brigid Archibald said.

“His wealth of experience in working with fast-growth companies and established enterprises is a huge asset for our customers and partners and will strengthen Qualtrics’ position as the leader in experience management as we accelerate our growth in 2025.”

In July this year, Qualtrics revealed new initiatives and expanding its operational capabilities across Asia Pacific and Japan.

Scott Thompson, chief partner officer at Qualtrics, told ARN it has continued strengthening its presence and delivering value to customers. These efforts underscore its dedication to advancing technology and addressing evolving market needs.

“Our partner ecosystem continues to thrive, fostering collaboration and driving innovation across diverse markets,” he said. “Collaboration remains at the heart of our strategy, enabling us to deliver impactful solutions and value to our customers.”
