Credit: Tapati Rinchumrus / Shutterstock Aquion has partnered with cyber security vendor Seceon to distribute its solution across Australia, New Zealand (A/NZ) and Japan. As an authorised value-added distributor, Aquion can offer Seceon’s Open Threat Management (OTM) platform, as well as technical enablement, pre-sales engineering and localised support. According to Seceon, the platform AI-powered security information and event management (SIEM), extended detection and response (XDR) and managed security service provider (MSSP) capabilities. It also contains insights and analytics functionality via the platform’s aiSecurity Score 360 and BI360 features. Seceon founder and CEO Chandra Pandey said Aquion’s channel expertise and its established A/NZ network makes it an “ideal partner”. In addition to announcing the agreement between the two companies, Seceon promoted its A/NZ and Japan regional sales manager Manish Karanji to director of channel development for the region as well as South Korea. With his new role, Pandey added that Karanji will work closely with Aquion for developing its presence in the A/NZ and Japan area. Meanwhile, the distributor’s CEO, Stuart Hogben, stated that Seceon’s AI-powered approach to extended detection and response is “a game-changer for our partners and clients in A/NZ.” The distributor’s agreement with Seceon comes 12 months after it signed an agreement with Azul for A/NZ.
