Credit: Michael Vi/Shutterstock Australian organisations were in full force at Red Hat’s annual partner awards for 2024, with five awards going out to locally-based companies. Held during the Red Hat Summit Connect Partner Exchange on 9 September at the Ritz Carlton in Melbourne, the awards were designed to highlight the importance of technical expertise, customer satisfaction, market growth and alignment with Red Hat’s strategic objectives. According to the vendor, the winning partners demonstrated co-creative solutions, shown leadership in systems integration, excelled in distribution, managed services and innovation and have contributed significantly to Red Hat’s business goals and customer outcomes. Integral took out the A/NZ Partner of the Year award for 2024 for showing “exceptional collaboration” with Red Hat over the past year. “Integral drove significant growth and customer satisfaction through their leadership in container platforms and app modernisation,” a Red Hat spokesperson said. Advent One was awarded Co-creation Partner of the Year, which recognised it for demonstrating an ability to jointly develop new and innovative solutions to address significant customer business and technology challenges. “Advent One has been at the forefront of co-creation activities and solutions throughout the year,” the spokesperson said. “[Advent One] is focused on combining Red Hat technologies with those of other vendor partners to deliver comprehensive customer-focused solutions.” Advent One was also recognised as the Innovation Partner of the Year, having committed to customer success and accelerating innovation through Red Hat’s technologies, consistently “delivering commercial value, security and trusted enterprise solutions”. When it came to Systems Integration Partner of the Year, Deloitte was awarded for its deepened partnership with the vendor. The consultancy firm developed and delivered solutions focused on application modernisation, development platforms, observability and virtualisation. Tech Data took out the Distribution Partner of the Year award, for its excelled in distribution performance, “aligning with the vendor’s business goals as well achieving sales performance, market reach and high levels of satisfaction,” the spokesperson added. For the Managed Services Partner of the Year category, Atturra was awarded for integrating Red Hat technologies into its managed service offerings.
