Barracuda Networks has appointed former Ivanti senior vice president of global channels and alliances Michelle Hodges to lead its own channel strategy.

In the role as the vendor’s senior vice president of global channels and alliances, Barracuda Networks said Hodges will spearhead its worldwide channel strategy, as well as driving growth and deepening engagement of its partner ecosystem.

On her appointment, Hodges said she will work with partners to extend Barracuda’s “global reach, help customers defend against today’s evolving threat landscape and drive sustainable, mutual growth and value”.

Hodges brings more than two decades of experience in channel focused roles at leading technology vendors, where she helped to transform partner programs.

In addition to Ivanti, she has also worked at GitLab, Gigamon Riverbed Technology, Apptio, Intel, VMware, SAP BusinessObjects and Microsoft.

“Michelle’s appointment reflects Barracuda’s deep commitment to empowering our partners with innovative solutions and managed security services that are easy to buy, deploy and use,” said the vendor’s chief revenue officer, Geoff Waters.

“Her experience and leadership will be instrumental in advancing the Barracuda Partner Success Program, enhancing our go-to-market execution and accelerating growth.”

Hodges’ appointment comes weeks after the vendor appointed former MyPass Global director of sales and industry partnerships Dan McLean as its country manager for Australia and New Zealand.
