During the modernisation project, Brennan helped the national psychologist body implement Power BI paginated reports with dynamic receipt subscriptions, fully automating the generation and distribution process. Additionally, APS was able to decommission an unsupported server in the process, addressing a key security risk and aligning it with its broader cloud-first transformation strategy. The new system comes in to replace its outdated set up, which saw finance staff spend up to two days each month generating and manually distributing financial reports to 90 member groups. Now, this monthly process takes just two and-a-half hours. APS data and information manager Adrian Betts said the new system has been a “game changer” for the industry body. “It’s saved us significant time, improved our reporting accuracy and removed manual effort,” Betts said. “The transition was seamless and the feedback from our member groups has been overwhelmingly positive. Brennan delivered exactly what we needed to support our ongoing transformation.” Brennan chief customer officer Nick Sone added that “[not] only did our solution save APS time, it also empowered their teams with secure, reliable and scalable tools to drive efficiency”. Earlier this month, Brennan announced its plans to shake up the system integrator space, launching a “Fixed Fee, Fixed Outcome” initiative as part of a wider restructure.
