This accomplishment allows CBS to leverage Microsoft’s technology to streamline processes, create efficiencies, and deliver specialised services to its customers. CBS is one of only 42 partners in Australia to hold all six designations, out of 7000 partners. The six Microsoft Solutions Partner designations include: Business Applications, Data and AI (Azure), Digital and App Innovation (Azure), Infrastructure (Azure), Security and Modern Work. CBS CEO Luke Clark said the achievement of all six designations was a significant opportunity for CBS and customers like the SA Motor Sport Board. “This achievement reflects our proven track record of delivering tailored Microsoft solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers,” Clark said. “Securing all six Solutions Partner designations demonstrates our commitment to staying at the forefront of technology and innovation, ensuring we can continue to provide Oceania businesses with the most effective and impactful solutions available.” CBS used its expertise in Microsoft’s Modern Applications and Security designations enabled the development of a custom credentialing app solution for the Adelaide 500 (in 2025 the event is called the bp Adelaide Grand Final). CBS further leveraged Microsoft Dynamics 365 to enable the SA Motor Sport team to enhance their wider ticketing and marketing capabilities. South Australian Motor Sport Board commercial manager Rebecca Lawson said CBS’s use of Microsoft solutions resulted in improvements in “distribution speed, resource reduction, and overall operational efficiency.” “We’ve just created a new digital advertising asset on the ticket, which is an exciting commercial opportunity,” Lawson said. “We’ve also expanded the platform into a CRM that combines all the ticketing data, contact and account information for our sponsors, event suppliers, and trade activation partners.” Microsoft A/NZ partnership development manager Daniyel McAvoy acknowledged CBS’ investment, saying it was “a valuable partner in the Microsoft ecosystem, and we look forward to continuing our partnership, securing the cyber foundation of the future, and developing innovative solutions with provable value AI for businesses across Australia and New Zealand.” SUBSCRIBE TO OUR NEWSLETTER From our editors straight to your inbox Get started by entering your email address below.
