To protect SMBs from cyber threats. Paul Bailye (CommsPlus Distribution) Credit: CommsPlus Distribution CommsPlus Distribution has signed an agreement with security software-as-a-service (SaaS) vendor SafeWeb for the Australian market. Headquartered in London, England, SafeWeb offers a range of security features, including 24/7 dark web monitoring with AI-driven data breach detection, incident response, a privacy toolbox with more than 40 customisable policy templates and a phishing simulator. The tools are designed particularly to protect small- to medium-sized businesses (SMB) from cyber threats, with the distributor’s managing director, Paul Bailye, noting it provides additional opportunities for resellers “to deliver more value through complete end-to-end solutions for their customers”. SafeWeb also includes insurance services, but ARN understands this functionality is currently only for UK SMBs and won’t be available in Australia right away, with no confirmed date as of publication. “By partnering with SafeWeb, we are equipping our reseller partners with a powerful solution that enhances cyber security resilience while remaining easy to deploy and manage,” said Bailye. In addition to the product itself, the distributor will also be providing dedicated sales and marketing support and training for resellers. Meanwhile, SafeWeb founder Daan Donders added that the vendor’s rapid growth across the UK and Europe “has highlighted the critical need for robust cyber security among SMBs, and we are eager to extend this vital protection to Australian businesses”. In 2023, CommsPlus merged with BTC Wholesale to bring stronger services and solutions to the channel.
