SMB cyber security platform Coro has formally established its presence in the Australian market through a new distribution agreement with Bluechip Infotech and hiring Demetrios Georgiou as its new A/NZ sales leader.

Through this partnership, Bluechip Infotech will provide its network of MSPs and resellers with streamlined access to Coro’s comprehensive cyber security platform.

“Coro’s blend of simplicity, scalability, and automation makes it a game-changer for the SMB segment. Our partners will now be able to provide more value with less complexity,” Bluechip Infotech managing director Johnson Hsiung said.

The collaboration combines Coro’s modular and intuitive security technology with Bluechip’s channel relationships and regional market expertise, enabling partners to deliver robust, easy-to-manage security solutions to SMBs at scale.

Coro SVP and general manager Joe Sykora said the partnership with Bluechip launches Coro’s expansion into the APAC region, beginning with Australia.

“Bluechip’s commitment to empowering its reseller community aligns perfectly with Coro’s mission to simplify cybersecurity for lean IT teams. Together, we’re making it easier than ever for partners to deliver enterprise-grade security to the SMB market—securely, scalably, and profitably,” Sykora said.

The new offering will provide A/NZ resellers and service providers with access to Coro’s AI-driven platform, which protects against threats such as malware, ransomware, phishing, insider threats and data loss.

Georgiou joins Coro following his time as the A/NZ country leader for Anomali and has previously worked for Bitdefender, Secureworks, Webroot and Avnet.

“Joining Coro has been an exciting and strategic decision,” Coro A/NZ vice president of sales  Demetrios Georgiou said.

“There is a huge opportunity in Australia to equip partners with a cyber security solution that is as effortless as it is effective. This partnership is the first step in realising that vision—and I’m proud to lead the charge locally.”

Bluechip has been building up its vendor portfolio in recent months adding miniOrange and Verkada to its line-up.
