Data#3 has bolstered its presence in Western Australia with the appointment of Vince Troth as general manager for the state.

Effective from 16 June, Troth’s hiring coincides with the publicly listed company experiencing “strong momentum” in WA and underscores its focus on leadership excellence and regional growth, a statement from the provider noted.

He takes the position over from Kingsley McGarrigle, who held the role for seven years up until March.

Prior to his upcoming role, Troth worked as a director at Vince Troth and Associates, supporting consulting and contracting interests while contributing to a project for an industry precinct in partnership with local government.

Before this, he also worked at Schneider Electric, Fuji Xerox and Optus.

“His extensive industry knowledge and leadership experience will be a tremendous asset to our WA operations,” said Data#3 chief customer officer John Tan.

“On behalf of myself and the senior leadership team, we look forward to working with Vince to deliver the digital future,” he added.

On his appointment, Troth said he will be bringing his skills and experience to support Data#3’s WA team and “help drive the next chapter of growth and innovation”.

In February, Data#3 announced its half yearly results for the 20205 financial year, with net profit after tax (NPAT) rising 4.3 per cent, to $22.4 million.
