Credit: David Abouhaidar (Secure Agility) After seven years of leading the organisation, David Abouhaidar has decided to step down as CEO of Secure Agility. He was appointed as the CEO back in 2018, joining Secure Agility stakeholders Charlie Tannous and John Tannous at the time. Before his time at Secure Agility, Abouhaidar was an equal equity owner in Klikon Solutions from 2000, which was acquired by AC3 in 2013. While he will be taking a career break, Abouhaidar will continue to drive the charity organisation he founded, IT for a Cause, which was established to help IT companies give back to the community through supporting important charities such as Ronald McDonald House, Sydney Children’s Hospital, CRBF and Save our Sons. With Abouhaidar’s departure, Charlie and John Tannous are stepping back into roles as managing directors of the company. In a statement shared to partners, seen by ARN, Tannous said it was embarking on its next phase of strategic growth. “This week, David Abouhaidar concluded his tenure as CEO and director. We extend our heartfelt thanks to David for his contributions over the past seven years and wish him every success in his future endeavours,” Tannous said. “As the founders, John Tannous and I are stepping back into our roles as managing directors. Together with our expanded team, we remain fully dedicated to being a trusted partner, delivering tailored digital solutions that help customers navigate today’s evolving digital and cybersecurity landscapes. “Our ongoing vision and steadfast leadership, present since our company’s inception, reinforce our commitment to long-term stability, strategic clarity, and strong partnerships.” Richard Mitton has also been appointed as the new CIO, leading Secure Agility’s pre-sales, solution architects, and professional engineering teams. Mitton comes with more than 30 years of IT experience and deep expertise in cybersecurity, data analytics, cloud solutions, and enterprise infrastructure. He previously worked for Oriel Technologies, BigAir Group, AtlasPlato and Tambla. “He will be critical in driving our digital innovation and expanding our capabilities,” Tannous said.
