Dicker Data to distribute Chorus Cyber across A/NZ

Dicker Data has added managed security operations centre (SOC) and security information and event management (SIEM) vendor Chorus Cyber to its distribution portfolio for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ).

Chorus Cyber is expected to tap into Dicker Data’s network of over 10,000 reseller partners to offer its 24×7 managed detection and response (MDR) and extended detection and response (MXDR) services, which will be delivered from the UK-based vendor’s 24x7x365 cyber security operations centre (CSOC).

The centre utilises security technologies from Microsoft, including Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender XDR.

“We’ve heard the feedback from our partners on the types of technologies and solutions they need to keep ahead of the evolving cyber threat landscape and we’ve identified Chorus Cyber, a leading provider who’s globally recognised by Microsoft, as a company that aligns well to the needs of our partners,” Dicker Data chief operating officer Vlad Mitnovetski said.

“Our strategic partnership with Chorus Cyber is testament to our commitment to unearth and bring the world’s leading technology solutions to our region.”

Chorus Cyber managing director Nicky Saner added that the vendor chose Dicker Data due to its “deep-rooted expertise, strong industry reputation and unwavering commitment to supporting IT resellers”.

Last month, Dicker Data added CrowdStrike to its A/NZ portfolio, giving its resellers and managed service providers access to the Falcon platform.
