The partnership has enabled DXC to consolidate tools, streamline operations and ensure cyber resilience for customers, according to the global service provider’s head of security for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Kylie Watson. “With almost 100 trained Tanium engineers in Australia and New Zealand, DXC is ready to deliver to our customers,” she said. Tanium director of channel and alliances Stewart McDonald said the vendor leverages artificial intelligence capabilities, powered by real-time data access and actionable insights to address challenges in endpoint management. “Our partnership with DXC provides invaluable expertise in delivering the critical people and process components essential for a comprehensive, robust cyber security strategy – reducing risk, cost and complexity for our customers,” he added. This collaboration comes off the back of a number of initiatives between the two organisations, including a solution for public sector entities to adhere to regulatory mandates. Speaking to ARN previously, DXC A/NZ strategic growth lead for security Craig Griffiths said the provider has been looking at developing its cyber security-related skills via its vendor partners . “We have our own strategy set; we have our partners that we’re doubling down with and we’re investing in,” he said. Partnerships do require an investment; a lot of people will just consider the financial investment, but it’s the time as well. “We can’t be everything to everyone. We need to find a good balance of what’s needed for our customers and we need to find where we can deliver value to the customer with our partners.” SUBSCRIBE TO OUR NEWSLETTER From our editors straight to your inbox Get started by entering your email address below.
