Eaton has celebrated the success of its local channel over the last year at its annual Partner Awards.

Held on 6 March in Sydney, the awards saw over 100 partners, distributors and key Eaton employees from Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea come together to recognise the power management vendor’s top performers.

“The annual Eaton Channel Partner Awards celebrate the exceptional achievements and dedication of our channel partners who consistently drive innovation, growth and success in the industry,” said Eaton Power Quality general manager Gavin Swadling.

“We are immensely proud of our channel partners and their unwavering commitment to Eaton, which continues to elevate our collective success.”

Dicker Data won the Distributor of the Year award after overachieving on its annual target through its commitment to success and strategic investments in serving the partner community, Eaton claimed.

“I am incredibly proud of our team and the results they’ve delivered for Eaton,” said Dicker Data executive director and chief operating officer Vlad Mitnovetski.

“We remain committed to going above and beyond the expectations of our partners and our vendors at every interaction and this award is testament to that.”

Meanwhile, Authorised Partner of the Year went to Papua New Guinea-based StreamTech Knowledge, which also has a Sydney office, after achieving 40 per cent year-on-year growth with Eaton’s Papua New Guinean business.

“Our continued partnership with Eaton, and their exceptional team, has been instrumental in our success,” said StreamTech Knowledge managing director Andy Obeidi.

“Winning Authorised Partner of the Year for the second time is a testament to the strength of our joint commitment to delivering exceptional power solutions in Papua New Guinea,” he added.

Additionally, Certified Partner of the Year went to power quality and management specialist Power On Australia.

As well as its awards, Eaton also announced its UPSgrade Programme, a new upgrade and recycling initiative for partners to provide free recycling services when customers upgrade their uninterruptible power supply (UPS) solutions.

“Our partners are the driving force behind Eaton’ success and we are thrilled to recognise their contribution through the Eaton Partner Awards,” said Eaton Power Quality channel sales manager Alice Desai.

“As we continue to drive growth together, we are excited to launch out UPSgrade Program and refresh our partner program with new incentives, training and products to strengthen our channel and market presence,” she added.
