Lara Barnett has been tasked to lead Kinetic IT’s national marketing function, collaborating closely with senior executives to advance the company’s growth strategy.

Based in Sydney, Barnett will be working closely with teams across Kinetic IT’s national operations to execute on the company’s ambitious growth plans. Her role will be to ensure a distinctive and impactful brand presence across key markets.

This marks a key step in the company’s strategic growth journey, with a focus on enhancing brand visibility and strengthening partnerships to drive market expansion.

Kinetic IT’s Australian identity and onshore expertise are key differentiators in today’s fast-evolving technology landscape, noted Barnett.

“I’m eager to partner with the team to amplify our business strategy and drive real value for both customers and partners,” she said.

A commercially focused, data-driven marketing leader with more than 15 years of B2B experience, Barnett has a strong background in the IT services sector.

Up until April, Barnett was the head of marketing for Logicalis Australia. She was hired in 2023 to lead a strong team of marketing professionals across brand, events and digital across Australia and Malaysia. Additionally, she has also worked in senior marketing positions at Equifax and rhipe.

One of her achievements included being named Rising Star at the 2024 ARN Women in ICT Awards and serving as a co-manager of Australia and New Zealand B2B marketing community Generate.

Kinetic CEO Michael North said her leadership and expertise will amplify partner collaboration.

“[Barnett] aligns perfectly with our ambition to solidify Kinetic IT as the trusted technology services partner for Australian public sector and enterprise organisations,” he said.
