Ingram Micro Australia enhances services expertise, hires Kaaren Lewis and Mo Kandeel

Ingram Micro has hired highly experienced IT industry executives Kaaren Lewis and Mo Kandeel to its Australian leadership team.

Lewis joins the business as the director of advanced solutions, cybersecurity, hybrid business applications and cloud, while Kandeel takes on the role of director for end point devices and specialty.

Lewis and Kandeel join a refreshed leadership team, led by executive managing director Hope McGarry.

McGarry added the new appointments represent a significant step in shaping a future-ready leadership structure.

Prior to joining Ingram, Lewis spent five years with F5 Networks and has also worked at Commvault, HPE, Dell Technologies, Insight and IBM. She briefly left the IT industry last year to work for Allhomes.

In his role, Kandeel will oversee vendor relationships, including HPI, Lenovo, Eaton, Meta as well as data capture/point of sale, and Pro AV teams. Kandeel has previously worked for Leader, Blupeak, Fuji Xerox, Emerson Network Power, Lexmark, Dell Technologies, Targus, LG, Acer and Powerlan Technologies.
