Logicalis Australia has completed its leadership organisational structure and appointed Peter Cardassis as its technical services director.

In his role, Cardassis will oversee Logicalis Australia’s consulting, implementation, support, and managed services, focusing on driving operational efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

He will also lead initiatives to modernise the managed solutions provider’s (MSP) technical service offerings and strengthen partner engagements, with Cisco and Microsoft in particular.

Logicalis Australia said Cardassis’ appointment comes at a “pivotal time” as it accelerates its growth ambitions through technical capabilities and service models.

He comes into the role with more than two decades in the technology industry, having recently spent more than 6 years at NTT Data.

Cardassis has also worked at Dimension Data, Arq Group, Melbourne IT Group, ManageNET, Latent Workforce, Alphawest Services, Optus and PowerTel.

“[Cardassis’] exceptional leadership credentials, customer-centric mindset and passion for technology perfectly align with the Logicalis vision,” said the MSP’s general manager, Lisa Fortey.

“Peter’s expertise will play a crucial role in helping Logicalis Australia drive operational excellence, deliver greater value to clients, and continue building a world-class technical services organisation.”

Cardassis added that his focus will be on strengthening client relationships, evolving services with requisite needs and fostering a culture “that thrives on excellence, accountability and adaptability”.

“As clients face growing complexity across technology, operations, and innovation, Logicalis Australia has a unique opportunity to become their most trusted partner in co-creating long-term value, not just delivering services,” he said.

Cardassis’ appointment comes months after Logicalis Australia hired Fortey in January, with her taking the role of acting country manager at the time.

The MSP added that its strategic structure aligns its senior team to address emerging customer needs and market opportunities.
