NetApp public sector director Roshi Balendran takes on A/NZ sales at BeyondTrust

Former NetApp Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) public sector director Roshi Balendran has been appointed by BeyondTrust to lead its A/NZ business.

As A/NZ director of sales, Balendran will be based in Canberra and will be responsible for business growth in the region and supporting organisations in protecting their identities and critical assets.

He enters the role with more than 18 years of sales and leadership experience in the IT industry. In addition to NetApp, Balendran has also worked at Dynatrace, NEC Australia, HP Enterprise Services and Fujitsu Australia.

BeyondTrust Asia Pacific and Japan vice president John Hathaway said the vendor was seeing demand increase for its solutions and it needed to build up its team with “impressive experience and talent” for support.

Hathaway referred to Balendran as a “dynamic executive with deep knowledge of the government market as well as proven record in customer growth and account management excellence across the region”.

“His experience accelerating growth and leading sales teams make him a perfect fit for BeyondTrust and where we are in our transformation,” he said.

On his appointment, Balendran added that leading BeyondTrust’s A/NZ business represents an opportunity to “drive meaningful impact in a critical industry”.
