Wholesale Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) provider FoneSense has inked an exclusive deal with Access4 as part of its official launch to market.

Leveraging Access4’s engineering and development resources, the FoneSense solution has been crafted to meet the specific needs of wholesale UCaaS providers targeting the underserved SMB market.

The collaboration underscores a shared commitment to innovation and excellence in the rapidly evolving communications space, with FoneSene committing to Access4’s Cloud Phone System offering.

Additionally, Access4 has built a customised version of its SASBOSS platform to ensure the demands of FoneSense partners can be addressed.

The customised version of SASBOSS allows for easy onboarding and delivery of core phone services, which is what differentiates it from the Access4 partner program.

“We are thrilled to launch FoneSense as a formidable player in the wholesale UCaaS space,” FoneSense national general manager, Chris McMahon said.

“Our partnership with Access4 allows us to deliver a state-of-the-art platform that empowers our partners with the tools and solutions needed to excel in the SMB market and ensure the customer experience in this market segment is elevated.

“This marks a significant step forward in providing independent, tailored, and scalable communication solutions.”

FoneSense with its dedicated team, have designed a product and platform offering to focus on a specific underserved SMB market segment with the ability to deliver value for money and customer focused support, McMahon said.

This enables FoneSense to be agile and responsive to the needs of its wholesale partners, delivering high-quality, innovative solutions through a partner program to meet the evolving SMB market demands.

“Tim has created a modern and robust technology ecosystem under his leadership delivering proven success. The Access4 culture is impressive. This combined with their executive strength further enhanced with Brad and Matt Milne’s arrival is first class,” he said.

FoneSense’s launch represents a significant milestone in the UCaaS industry, offering partners a robust platform backed by the expertise and infrastructure of Access4. With a focus on innovation, reliability, and market-driven solutions, FoneSense is poised to redefine the SMB go-to-market strategy for wholesale UCaaS providers.

“Access4 is excited to power FoneSense and support their vision of a purpose-built UCaaS platform for wholesale partners,” Access4 CEO Tim Jackson said.

“Our engineering and development resources have been instrumental in creating a solution that aligns with FoneSense’s mission while maintaining the high standards Access4 is known for.”

To mark its launch FoneSense will be running a national roadshow series starting off in Brisbane on 11 February; Sydney 12 February and Melbourne 13 February.

In September last year, Access4 acquired Channel UC to scale its capabilities in cloud communications.

Channel UC’s team of 22 employees transitioned to the new ownership including managing director Brad Milne and director Matt Milne who were added to Access4’s senior leadership team.

As a result of the deal, the business’ combined transacting reseller base will expand to over 600 partners and over 300,000 services.
