The deal was previously announced in January. Charif El-Ansari (Dropsuite) Credit: Dropsuite NinjaOne has completed its acquisition of Melbourne-based cloud backup vendor Dropsuite for approximately US$270 million. According to NinjaOne, the addition of Dropsuite to its product portfolio provides its customers with a way to unify endpoint, server and software-as-a-service (SaaS) application backup use cases. It also offers backup functionality with M365 and Google Workspace as well as email archiving. The deal was previously announced in January with a price point of US$252 million and was expected to close before the end of June. NinjaOne cofounder and CEO Sal Sferlazza said the acquisition was a “major step forward” in how the unified endpoint management (UEM) and IT management vendor helps its customers. “The addition of Dropsuite not only expands the backup protection we offer, but it also brings a team of new Ninjas whose mindset perfectly aligns with NinjaOne’s values,” he said. “Dropsuite’s commitment to customer success and product excellence will help us accelerate growth and better serve our customers.” Meanwhile, Dropsuite CEO Charif El-Ansari added that the two companies will “continue to solve our customers’ biggest challenges together”. “Dropsuite helps organisations protect their data with intuitive yet powerful cloud backup software. Together with NinjaOne, we’re even better suited to make our customers successful with one integrated console that automates endpoint and SaaS application backup,” he said.
