IT service provider Nomura Research Institute Australia and New Zealand (NRI A/NZ) has partnered with inventiveX to assist in the technology transformation of Western Australia’s public health sector.

inventiveX is a boutique healthcare transformation consultancy that provides digital marketing, web development, graphic design, and SEO services.

NRI A/NZ said this partnership marks a milestone in its ongoing efforts to focus on strengthening its growth and impact in healthcare in WA.

It will also bring globally informed, contemporary and innovative services and solutions.

This brings together the combined experience, skill set and capabilities, will further support WA Health to deliver major programs as part of its digital transformation journey, said NRI A/NZ CEO Kaylene O’Brien.

“Together, we have a shared commitment to placing consumers, carers, clinicians and the broader workforce, at the heart of digital transformation and innovation, improving health service delivery and health outcomes for Western Australians,” she said.

NRI A/NZ was founded 20 years ago and currently employs several hundred IT professionals in the state, with almost 10 percent of its total permanent workforce having specialised health industry experience.

The service provider went through leadership changes towards the end of 2024, when O’Brien took over the CEO position from Dean Langenbach, who resigned in early November 2024.

At the time ARN reported that NRI A/NZ president Tomohiro Yamazaki said O’Brien’s commitment to innovation and excellence in client service is evidenced by her successful track record and is well aligned with the firm’s goals for the business.

“She is well placed to work with the teams across our different businesses, collaborating and innovating to keep NRI at the forefront of digital transformation,” he said.
