Takes over from Aaron White. Jay Tuseth (Nutanix) Credit: Nutanix Nutanix has appointed former Conviva vice president for Asia Pacific Jay Tuseth as its vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). Reporting directly to Nutanix chief revenue officer Andrew Brinded, Tuseth takes over from Aaron White who was promoted from general manager and APJ vice president of sales in November last year, to field chief operating officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He enters the role with over 25 years of experience at IT companies, including the last year at Conviva, a real-time performance analytics software vendor. According to Nutanix, during his time with Conviva he helped digital businesses and their operations teams move their focus from quality of service to quality of experience. His leadership style, the vendor continued, includes a mindset of continuous growth, having teams push boundaries, taking ownership and ensuring contributions are “seen and valued”. Prior to Conviva, Tuseth also worked at Oracle, Dell Technologies, Autonomy, Vignette and GE Access. Last year, Nutanix head of channel sales Jelaine Doncaster told ARN that the vendor is looking at equipping partners with as many resources as possible to deal with uncertainty in the market. “We’ve been doing a lot with enablement, training, certifications – doubling down with our partners and building those connections so that they can deal with that,” she said at the time.
