Pax8 APAC Academy’s Elliot Seeto takes on channel manager APAC role at Harmony SASE Check Point

After almost three years with Pax8 APAC Academy as an executive coach, cybersecurity, Elliot Seeto has moved onto the role of channel manager APAC with Harmony SASE at Check Point Software and will focus on the Harmony Secure Access Secure Edge (SASE) in the region.

In a LinkedIn post, Seeto noted he joined Pax8 as employee number “20-ish in the region” and thanked his colleagues, as well as the managed service providers (MSP) and technology success partners throughout the last few years that he “had the privilege to work with”.

“I have always learnt so much from every engagement and hope I was able to reciprocate, even in a small way,” he said. “I will always be one of your biggest advocates and truly believe MSPs can be the answer to solving the SMB [small- to medium-sized business] cyber security crisis.”

Seeto announced he will be joining the team at Perimetre 81 in late April, focusing on supporting Harmony SASE channel sales.

“[I can’t] wait to get started and continue to support the channel community in accelerating their growth,” he said. “Secure access secure edge is becoming a technology that is changing the way businesses address network security that goes beyond the firewall and I can’t wait to get started.”

Pax8 APAC CEO Chris Sharp told ARN Seeto had been an incredible part of the cloud marketplace specialist’s journey.

“We’re grateful for the energy, insight and passion he brought to the business in helping partners tackle the issues affecting them most,” he said. “While we’re sad to see him go, we’re excited to see where he channels that same passion next.”
