The vendor claims the new program contains a modernised partner portal, tailored engagement programs and specialisations and a new Partner Training academy. “Our new PACT Program is the result of listening to and working collaboratively with our partner community to best understand their business challenges and opportunities,” said Rapid7 APJ vice president and general manager Rob Dooley. “This significant program update ensures our partners are enabled and supported to drive maximum impact in line with their near- and long-term business objectives. ARN understands the vendor’s previous PACT program followed a three-tiered system, with the evolution of the program viewed by Rapid7 as “an important step in setting the right foundation for how we categorise, manage and reward our partners,” according to a spokesperson. Additionally, the previous program featured free access to online training courses, which is now presented in a more “robust” fashion via the Partner Training Academy. In the previous program, partners across all tiers received free access to online training courses along with a wealth of marketing, sales and technical content. This is the same for the new PACT program, except now the training portion is much more robust via the all-new Partner Training Academy. Coinciding with the new program is the promotion of Quist, who comes in to replace former APJ partner director Anita Moorhouse after her departure in December. Quist has spent more than 25 years in the technology sector and has worked at Rapid7 for more than six years, with half of this time as senior manager of southern region sales for Australia and New Zealand. “Customers across the APJ region face a variety of significant cyber security challenges. For our partners, this threat landscape provides a multitude of growth opportunities, driven by the need for organisations to take command of their attack surface and defend against complex and sophisticated cyber threats,” Quist said. “I’m looking forward to supporting that growth and ensuring our partners get the best out of our new PACT Program to ensure their continued success.” SUBSCRIBE TO OUR NEWSLETTER From our editors straight to your inbox Get started by entering your email address below.
