Enters the role with over 20 years of experience in technology sales and channel development. Credit: Cynthia Lush (Vertiv) Vertiv has appointed former Exclusive Networks Fortinet business unit manager Cynthia Lush to lead its channel approach in Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ). Lush started in her role of associate channel director in July last year and is responsible for building and strengthening the vendor’s strategic alliances across its channel ecosystem. She also will work closely with Vertiv IT distributors Orion Energy, Multimedia Technology in Australia and Ingram Micro and Dove in New Zealand. Lush enters the role with over 20 years of experience in technology sales and channel development, with one and-a-half years of that time at Exclusive Networks. Additionally, she has also worked at Konica Minolta and IBM, the latter of which making up close to 15 years of her career. Vertiv A/NZ senior director of sales LuLu Shiraz said Lush’s understanding of the technology ecosystem, combined with her strategic vision and leadership in channel development, will “play a crucial role in supporting our partners and driving growth in the market”. The vendor added that, with Lush on board, it is committed to fostering a “robust” channel ecosystem and driving growth across A/NZ. Included in this is the development of a forward-looking high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) go-to market strategy, which will be supported with partner enablement programs and thought leadership initiatives. In June last year, Vertiv launched an AI Hub to help organisations understand AI reference design portfolio for data centres.
