Sydney-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) specialist Wild Tech has brought on board Matthew Rodgers as the company’s new head of Microsoft Asia Pacific (APAC) as part of its strategy for growth across the region.

In the role, Rodgers will focus on strengthening finance and operations capabilities, enhancing enterprise offerings and driving deeper integration between Southeast Asia and Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) markets.

Rodgers, who will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, joins the ERP specialist after serving three years at sa.global as sales director for APAC, where he spearheaded Microsoft solutions across a number of Asian countries and A/NZ.

His experience with Microsoft Copilot, Dynamics ERP and CRM will be instrumental in driving Wild Tech’s business objectives and expanding its Microsoft technology ecosystem, the company claimed.

He also brings over two decades of leadership experience, specialising in digital transformation strategies and enterprise-level solutions, having worked in a variety of roles with organisations like Air Asia, Tectura and HSO Innovation.

Grant Wild, CEO and director at Wild Tech, said Rodgers’ experience strengthens its ability to meet enterprise needs and allows it to build on learnings across the region with its biggest trading partners.

“With his guidance, we aim to push the boundaries of what’s possible, transforming businesses by delivering smarter, more efficient and innovative solutions,” he said.

According to Rodgers, the enterprise landscape is undergoing a once-in-a-generation shift and organisations need to be able to harness automation and centralise operations, positioning them to thrive in this era.

“AI and technologies like Microsoft Copilot represent a revolution in how businesses operate,” he said. “By integrating SEA and A/NZ operations more closely, we can unlock new transformative business models and deliver tangible value to enterprises across the region.”

Wild Tech has identified hands-on industries such as manufacturing, logistics and supply chain management and retail and consumer goods as key to build on the company’s capacity to partner and deliver outcomes.
