Credit: Dan Whittle (Wild Tech) Sydney-based IT service provider Wild Tech has bolstered its managed services division with the appointment of Dan Whittle as the division’s general manager. Whittle joins Wild Tech from Alceon-owned online retail store Cheap as Chips where he spearheaded the company’s transformation of its legacy systems. He led initiatives including cloud ERP implementation, online business launches, automated payroll and the rollout of live data infrastructure across 53 stores. Whittle’s hands-on experience in driving scalable, AI-ready infrastructure and digital transformation in the retail sector equips him to lead Wild Tech’s expansion of its managed services division with a unique, the real-world perspective, the service provider said. The expansion of the managed services division also includes additional skilled resources, solutions and AI-focused offering with the integration of capabilities such as Azure Cognitive Services and Power BI analytics. “We’re strengthening our focus on delivering solutions that empower businesses to navigate an increasingly complex technology landscape,” said Grant Wild, Wild Tech CEO. “This division expansion reflects our vision to prepare organisations for the future of AI, cloud and advanced digital capabilities.” The service provider’s portfolio includes Microsoft technologies such as Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Sentinel and Microsoft 365 with Copilot to service AI-ready infrastructure, IT support, cyber risk management and modern workplace solutions.
