Wild Tech expands managed services division with new GM

Sydney-based IT service provider Wild Tech has bolstered its managed services division with the appointment of Dan Whittle as the division’s general manager.

Whittle joins Wild Tech from Alceon-owned online retail store Cheap as Chips where he spearheaded the company’s transformation of its legacy systems.

He led initiatives including cloud ERP implementation, online business launches, automated payroll and the rollout of live data infrastructure across 53 stores.

Whittle’s hands-on experience in driving scalable, AI-ready infrastructure and digital transformation in the retail sector equips him to lead Wild Tech’s expansion of its managed services division with a unique, the real-world perspective, the service provider said.

The expansion of the managed services division also includes additional skilled resources, solutions and AI-focused offering with the integration of capabilities such as Azure Cognitive Services and Power BI analytics.
