Former Searce senior manager for business development Andrew Kirk has joined Wild Tech to drive growth in enterprise-grade managed services and digital transformation partnerships.

In his newly appointed role as a senior business development manager, Kirk will bolster the Sydney-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) specialist’s presence in the enterprise and upper mid-market sector. He will focus particularly on government, financial services and retail.

This will be achieved by aligning long-term managed services with scalable AI, data and Microsoft cloud solutions, Wild Tech noted.

In addition to Searce, Kirk’s career in technology spans three decades. This includes 16 years at Telstra as well as time spent at Vigilant.IT, LYME Cyber Security, Advantra and AWA Technology Services.

“Andrew’s background working with tier one enterprises makes him an exceptional fit for our next phase of growth,” said Wild Tech general manager of managed services Dan Whittle. “He has walked in the shoes of large, complex organisations and knows what it takes to implement scalable, compliant solutions that deliver real outcomes.

“His insight will be pivotal as we help clients transition from project-based deployments to ongoing service-led transformation.”

On his appointment, Kirk said he joined the specialist as it understands what is important when working on jobs.

“The appetite for transformation is strong — but the real challenge is productivity,” he added.

“Wild Tech gets this. They’re not just delivering tech projects, they’re embedding long-term capability and service models that evolve with the client and drive the bottom line. That’s exactly where I want to be.”

Kirk’s appointment comes months after Wild Tech hired Dirk Vorster as its Western Australia practice lead in March.
