Wild Tech has reinforced its Western Australian presence with the hiring of Harvestaire executive director Dirk Vorster as its practice lead in the state.

Vorster enters the role for the Sydney-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) specialist with a background in ERP solutions and digital transformation dating back to 2008, with an extensive presence in WA.

Before his time at Harvestaire, Vorster also worked locally at Fusion5, Precise Business Solutions, CLiP Solutions and Enabling – all of which have been Perth-based roles.

As such, Wild Tech claimed Vorster’s appointment underscores its growth and presence in Perth and WA.

Prior to this, he also worked at AccTech Systems and Roco Fittings in South Africa in ERP-related roles.

During his positions at Harvestaire and Fusion5, Vorster played a key role in developing NetSuite practices, growing customer bases and forming strategic partnerships, according to Wild Tech.

On his appointment, Vorster said that he would leverage his experience in digital transformation, ERP, customer relationship management (CRM) and strategic alliances to deepen industry partnerships and support businesses.

“Dirk’s extensive experience in ERP, digital transformation and business development makes him an invaluable addition to Wild Tech,” said Wild Tech CEO Grant Wild. “His deep connections within the industry and expertise in fostering alliances will further enhance our ability to support businesses with tailored technology solutions.”

Vorster’s appointment comes a month after Wild Tech hired Dan Whittle as general manager of its managed services division.
