Technology consultant DiUS has signed a strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help enterprises tap into generative artificial intelligence (AI).

Under the SCA, DiUS and AWS will work together to help organisations tackle generative AI challenges. With greater access to AWS programs and co-funding, DiUS will use its expertise to help clients identify the right use cases and technology fit, to reduce latency and improve performance in production, through to scaling more advanced applications.

The focus will be on sectors where DiUS has deep domain expertise: financial services, retail, industrial, healthcare, and media and entertainment.

DiUS cofounder Joe Losinno said the agreement with AWS will help organisations adopt, implement and scale generative AI.

“We’re not just infusing AI into platforms and products; we’re also bringing hard-won expertise in the processes, practices, and organisational shifts needed to embed generative AI and deliver real business outcomes,” he said.

DiUS became one of the first Advanced AWS Consulting Partners in Australia and New Zealand to obtain the AWS Machine Learning and Applied AI Competencies.

AWS Asia Pacific and Japan director of partnerships Chris Casey said this agreement builds on a decade-long track record of DiUS delivering to customers with AWS.

“This collaboration helps democratise access to generative AI technology, enabling more Australian businesses to innovate and transform,” he said. “Our recent $20 billion infrastructure investment in Australia reinforces our commitment to helping partners like DiUS accelerate customer success with cloud and AI”.

One client example is Pendula, a next-generation customer engagement platform founded in Australia that aims to help businesses automate and scale personalised marketing communications.

Seeing agentic AI as the next leap forward, Pendula engaged DiUS to build a production-ready prototype that delivers even greater value to marketers using its platform. The agentic solution allows marketers to ask questions in natural language and surface the latest insights from two-way conversations across marketing, sales, and customer service.
