Leader has expanded its portfolio of computing devices through a distribution deal with rugged device vendor Durabook for the Australian market.

The agreement sees Leader offer the vendor’s full range of rugged laptops and tablets to the Australian market, which are built to withstand extreme conditions.

“Durabook’s rugged devices are a perfect fit for the Australian market, where reliability and durability are critical,” said Theo Kristoris, Leader managing director.

“We’re proud to be [its] Australian distributor and look forward to helping our partners grow their rugged computing offerings.”

Interested resellers can also utilise local support, marketing resources and access Durabook’s full product lineup, including accessories.

The vendor’s CEO, Fred Kao, said Australia presents “a dynamic and diverse landscape where reliability, performance, and durability are essential — whether in defence, emergency services, mining, or field operations”.

“Leader’s proven expertise, national presence, and strong channel relationships make them the ideal partner to support and grow our footprint across the region,” he said. “Together, we are committed to equipping Australian professionals with the tools they need to succeed in the toughest environments.”

Leader’s deal with Durabook comes more than a month after it signed an agreement with Kalibr8 in May, adding the vendor’s multi-tenant cloud optimisation, financial operations analytics and automation platform to its portfolio.
